Dear TSP Alumni,
We are happy to inform you that TSPAA will soon be announcing the Tibet Community Grants Fund (TCGF) for TSP Alumni, a new initiative which will empower you to contribute to the Tibetan community in India through various social impact projects, while also increasing TSP alumni engagement with the U.S Embassy Mission in India.
Successful grant applicants will receive funding to implement micro and small-scale projects ranging from $1,000 to $8,000, with individuals eligible to receive sub awards up to $2,000, and groups of 2-4 alumni eligible for sub awards of up to $8,000. Projects should focus on social development, including but not limited to education, entrepreneurship, environment, health, media, Tibetan arts and culture, gender, and youth empowerment, as well as Covid-19 prevention and response activities. The grant announcement will be made in October, 2020 and the successful TSP applicants will implement their projects between January to September, 2021.
In this regard, TSPAA requests you to participate in this short survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/RCM883B which will help us get a sense of the number of interested applicants and the kinds of projects that you would like to carry out. Please take part in this survey which has 15 questions and will take about 5 minutes to complete.
